After Tey Lynn-Jones withdrew with injury from his proposed Southern Area title bout with leading Middleweight prospect Linus Udofia (10-0) initial devastation turned to excitement again with the replacement opponent of a former World Kickboxing champion and undefeated professional Michael Gazdik.

With the Jones fight being rescheduled to 9th March, Udofia could have chosen to sit and wait but insisted he wanted a live opponent and takes on a former world Kick boxing champion and undefeated professional Michal Gazdik.

“I actually do not think Udofia is that good” said Gazdik. I want to box the top UK Middleweights and knocking out Udofia will get me recognised in the UK. I could beat both Jones and Udofia in the same night but it will be nice to beat one of them.

“I beat everyone there was to beat in kick boxing now I will do the same in boxing. I jumped at the chance to showcase my skills in the UK and urge all boxing fans to come and watch me beat up Udofia. I want to get UK fans behind me in my quest for big fights. I will be honest though this is not a big fight it is an easy one.”

Linus is delighted his opponent is coming to win “I do not want easy fights. That is why I wanted to box Tey. However as I have to wait three months for Tey this lad with the big mouth is going to get it instead. You should not be disrespectful in this game and on 1st December he will pay for it.”

The show on 1st December promoted by Ryan Smith of Smith Sports in association with Goodwin Boxing promises to be a cracker.

Three title fights are headed by the English Light-Heavyweight title fight where Miles Shinkwin takes on Joel McIntyre. They are 1-1 in previous meetings and this really is the Brawl that settles it all.

Former ABA Champion Deion Jumah takes on Ossie Jervier in a clash for the vacant Southern Area Cruiserweight title and Jack Hughes takes on Ricky Little for the vacant Southern Area Super Flyweight strap.

The undercard is mouthwatering with undefeated Youssef Khoumari (6-0) taking on Dave Birmingham (8-2 from Portsmouth).

Heavyweight action is in the form of the sensational “Dancing Destroyer” Jon Palata (2-0) whilst two of the top prospects around Cruiserweight Mark Little (9-0) and Welterweight Adrian Martin (9-0) look to make double digit undefeated records.

The event also sees the debut of Anelle Massey from Kent who will be looking for World titles down the line.
