David Price v Tom Little: Heavy bout adds weight to Whyte v Chisora 2

Lawrence Lustig

David Price and Tom Little will collide in a six-round heavyweight attraction on December 22.

The Brit big men are both in need of a victory following two respective defeats on the spin and some indifferent form.

Price has gone down in two high-profile encounters with current top division contenders.

Alexander Povetkin defeated Price on the Joshua v Parker undercard in March, whilst Sergey Kuzmin compounded misery on the Liverpool man when scoring a triumph following an arm injury.

‘The Big Horrible Heavyweight’ will now need to sweep Little aside in order to gain further traction in the division.

For Little, it’s yet another big opportunity for the Hatfield man, who has six losses from sixteen outings.

A decent win over Tom Dallas was followed up with a further double ‘W’ before Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois brought the 31 year-old back down to earth.

The event goes out live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK and on DAZN in the United States three days before Christmas.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has promised to pack the undercard in order for fans to get value for money for a PPV bill going up just prior to the festivities.

Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora square-up again in a rematch of their entertaining 2016 battle.

In the co-feature, Cristofer Rosales defends his WBC flyweight belt against Charlie Edwards.

Ryan Walsh defends his British featherweight belt against Reece Bellotti.

More bouts will be added soon.
