JD Sports recently caught up with Tony Bellew for an exclusive interview ahead of his upcoming match to Oleksandr Usyk.

Bellew faces Usyk for the undisputed cruiserweight world championship at Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom.

The Liverpool man has the chance to walk away from the sport with all the marbles.

Here’s some of what Bellew had to say:

Tony Bellew on his amazing act of generosity for the homeless

“I came out of my house in Chicago and I had two tracksuits, and I gave them to a homeless man on the street. Two brand new tracksuits. I didn’t need a video camera to video me to show off on social media. I just said, “here ya go mate”, and he couldn’t believe it.

“It’s just nice to give someone something back, as little as it can be.”

Bellew on Fury v Wilder

“I’m hoping for a Tyson Fury win, but I’m struggling to see it. You can’t go from fighting Seferi and Pianeta to facing Wilder. It will show on the night. I hope I’m wrong.

“I want nothing more than a Fury win. The Tyson that beat Klitschko in Dusseldorf beats Wilder, but not in this shape after such time out of the ring.”

Oleksander Usyk v Tony Bellew is live this Saturday on DAZN.
