Dillian Whyte fired a stark warning to Dereck Chisora as the pair prepare to wage war again on December 22.
‘The Bodysnatcher’ went toe-to-toe in an energy-sapping twelve round fight in 2016. Whyte knows victory next month will lead to another, more lucrative rematch.
Whyte is on the cusp of challenging Anthony Joshua for the unified world titles. Chisora is the only thing standing in the way of that happening on April 13 at Wembley.
Aware of what is at stake, Whyte has promised to end his old foes career at The O2.
“This is going to be the donkey’s final destination,” said Whyte.
“This will be Chisora’s last fight, the donkey’s last ride. I think that he needs to really have a good think about taking this fight. Because he’s going to be heading home after the fight looking like he’s been run over by a truck.
“I believe that I’ll knock him out in devastating fashion this time. Last time was my first 12 rounder and I was a little bit inexperienced. But this time I’ll know exactly what to do. He’s at the end of the road.
“This is Heavyweight boxing and you never know what’s around the corner. But I’ve done what I need to do to secure a shot at a World title.
“There’s always something getting in the way, other fights being made or money and politics ruining things, but after I finish Chisora nobody can deny me my shot,” he added.
Chisora is in the form of his life having taken out Carlos Takam in stunning fashion last time out.
With his new nickname of ‘WAR’ in tow, fans can expect another hard slog for both competitors in London on Sky Sports Box Office.
