Floyd Mayweather has fight options queuing around the block as the former pound for pound king nears a ring return.

This time, UFC lightweight king Khabib Nurmagomedov has emerged as a potential foe.

Khabib had called out Mayweather in a recent Instagram post and it didn’t take long for the 50-0 megastar to see dollar signs in his eyes.

“CBS, Showtime and MGM Grand get the checkbook out!” said Mayweather. “Go to Leonard Ellerbe’s page to view Khabib Nurmagomedov challenging me,” he added.

That clip Mayweather spoke of appeared over the weekend to obvious excitement.

Ellerbe said: “Look who I ran into at tonight’s fights in Russia,” with Khabib by his side.

In the video, Khabi outlined his ambition to fight Mayweather.

“Let’s go, Floyd, we have to fight now,” said Nurmagomedov to the Mayweather Promotions CEO. “50-0 vs 27-0, two guys who never lose, why not? Because in the jungle there is only one king.

“Of course I am the king because he could not drop McGregor and I dropped him easily.”

50 CENT

It’s been an eventful week for Khabib after he was offered a way out of any punishment handed down by the UFC for his recent antics in defeating McGregor.

Mayweather nemesis 50 Cent even went as far as revealing details of a contract offer to Khabib.

“I think it’s wrong what the UFC is doing to Khabib, they didn’t do the same thing to McGregor. I’ll pay 2 million cash tonight if he will fight for me at Bellator,” said the rapper.

“I’ll deal with Dana and your contract later. The UFC is not the only game in town. Zubaira (Tukhugov) is also welcome.”

Khabib replied: “Just send me location,” before 50 Cent added: “I’m dead serious Khabib.”

“If you wanna see place there real men born I invite you to Dagestan. And when I come to USA I will let you know. Thank you for support, you are real man!,” Khabib continued.

Concluding, 50 Cent wrote: “I know Khabib is a man of principle, and the disrespect was overwhelming.

“McGregor is lucky he didn’t ignore him tapping out and keep going. Get the strap!”

Mayweather had previously been linked to a rematches with McGregor and Manny Pacquiao.

McGregor’s loss to Khabib has seemingly ended his chances of facing Floyd for a second time.
