Srisaket, Ken Shiro keep firm grip on WBC titles

In a national sports celebration in Thailand organized by ONE Championship ™ Thai idol Srisaket Sor Rungvisai successfully defended his World Boxing Council crown.

The two-time world super flyweight champion of the World Boxing Council won the ovation of the night, with his impressive performance over brave, battling and durable Mexican Iran Diaz , defeating him via unanimous decision.

Despite spells of palpable danger from the Mexican, Srisaket maintained control throughout, taking the victory with scores of 120-108 and 2 times 119-109. Srisaket displayed his strength, landing powerful and sapping body blows.

Ken Shiro conquered the WBC flyweight title on May 20, 2017 defeating Ganigan Lopez. Since then he`s defending the Green and Gold Belt on four occasions. Three of these battles were against former world champions.

This was part of the undercard presented by the World Boxing Super Series, which in this new season will include a tournament in the bantamweight and super lightweight division.
