Naoya Inoue proved once again why he is the ‘Monster’ with yet another mammoth performance.
The Japanese star and multi-weight world champion took 70 seconds to win his World Boxing Super Series bout.
A lightning-fast straight right hand was all she wrote as Juan Carlos Payano crumbled.
Inoue, the pre-tournament favorite, seems destined for the Ali Trophy and a long-standing place in the P4P Top 10.
The co-feature saw WBA super-lightweight champion Kiryl Relikh book his place in the Semi-Finals via decision.
In a tight match-up with ex-title-holder Eduard Troyanovsky, Relikh was the winner 115-113 on all three cards.
Relikh improves to 23-2 and becomes the first fighter from Season 2 to claim victory and advance to the next phase.
In a non-WBSS encounter, WBC light-flyweight champion Ken Shiro successfully defended his green belt.
The home favorite stopped Milan Melindo in seven rounds and could now contemplate a move up in weight.
