Gennady Golovkin can once again lay claim to a victory over Canelo Alvarez following a round-up of ringside, media and fans scores.
‘GGG’ was originally and shockingly denied a win against Canelo in September 2017 leading to a rematch last weekend.
Carding 118-110 on the WBN scorecard a year ago, Golovkin somehow walked away with a share of the spoils.
Despite another brilliant performance, Golovkin was once again edged out on the cards.
Shouts of yet another highway robbery are certainly unwarranted this time though as Canelo fought his heart out and fire-with-fire against Golovkin for the duration.
A close contest could have gone either way, although over 2000 scores totalled since have Golovkin the winner by an overwhelming majority.
