Heather Hardy reveals Katie Taylor clash could be her last fight

After announcing a fight with Shelly Vincent, Heather Hardy discussed the possibility of a boxing match with Katie Taylor at some point in the future.

Mixing her career between MMA and boxing, Hardy is a well-sought-after opponent and says facing the current lightweight ruler would be in her thoughts after Vincent.

“Shelly’s next and the big part of why we had Shelly is I wanted to fight Katie Taylor and they wanted me to do this one first. So I win this fight and I get talks about that,” Hardy told Sirius XM Boxing Radio.

“I know she has Cindy Serrano next but chances are she’s gonna be my last one.

“I’m 36, I don’t know how much longer I want to stay in the business of boxing. The business of it is so disappointing. It’s like a bad boyfriend.

“The most disappointing this is I’m still working two jobs. I’m one of the most well-known female boxers. I made that name,” she added.

Taylor fights Serrano on Matchroom’s October 20 card live on DAZN in the United States and needs to take care of business before the contest can become a reality.

The Fights airs Mondays and Fridays from 6-8p ET on the first and only nationally broadcast combat radio channel SiriusXM RUSH 93.

Former New York State athletic commissioner Randy Gordon and former #1-ranked Heavyweight contender Gerry Cooney host the show.
