Footage has emerged from Belfast on Friday which shows a new angle of middleweight Billy Joe Saunders and heavyweight ruler Deontay Wilder clashing in a Belfast Nandos.
Saunders, who has had some beef with Wilder on social media in the past, is seen announcing himself to Wilder and his team before things began to turn ugly.
Wilder pulled Saunders on a ‘racist c***’ comment he made some time ago and there was no turning back from that point.
Glass, believed to be a plate which contained some chicken, is heard smashing as Saunders heads out of the restaurant with Wilder’s entourage giving chase.
The clip has since gone viral on social media doesn’t really show either, who are both world champions, in a glowing light prior to the Tyson Fury fight.
Since his arrival, Wilder hasn’t exactly been welcomed into the city, having already made his presence felt to a largely Partizan Fury crowd.
Tyson’s father John has already been embroiled in an argument with Wilder at the weigh-in, which the American attended due to ongoing negotiations for a potential Las Vegas clash in November.

All in all, the nature of the spotlight on Wilder’s visit to Northern Ireland will only increase clamour to see the pair of heavyweights take to the ring later in the year, should Fury dispatch of forthcoming opponent Francesco Pianeta as expected on Saturday night at Windsor Park.
