Sam Smith to make Commonwealth history on Hayemaker bill

Smith who signed with Steve Goodwin a year ago takes on the hard punching Anishir Bahil who is the current ABU Super-Featherweight Champion and has won her last 7 contests all by knock out.

Smith came into boxing through the unlicensed scene and then boxed under the auspices of the MBC before signing with Goodwin and converting to the BBBofC in 2017.

Sam has won 8 from 9 contests with her only loss suffered in a close 96-95 points loss to Christina Linardatou who then went on to fight for the WBC World Title.

Whilst not looking past Bahil, Sam has aspirations of boxing for a World Title. “With my team and my determination I believe I can achieve anything. Friday is an amazing opportunity for me and I will bringing the title back to Leeds.”
