Lucas Browne finds himself a frustrated figure as the Australian awaits news of a comeback from his devastating knockout loss to Dillian Whyte.

In a week where Whyte confirmed his return against ex-Browne target and down under rival Joseph Parker on July 28, the 39 year-old stated the decision on his next fight was simply down to his promotional side with Hatton Boxing.

Informing his followers of the situation, Browne asked promoter Ricky Hatton to check his emails for correspondence from him and manager Matt Clark.

“I’m sending an email every day (to Ricky Hatton) since he said he’s waiting on me and my manager,” said Browne via social media.

“My manager has sent an email every day, and called every day with no answer, so I’m not sure how that all translates back to ‘they’re waiting on Australia’ when we are specifically waiting on Ricky Hatton.”

A Hatton interview where the former world champion informed IFL TV of his concerns about Browne’s condition and mental state hasn’t gone down well with ‘Big Daddy’ who went on to tell his fans to have a look at the Nathan Gorman (Hatton-trained heavyweight) and Sean Turner weigh-in – citing their apparent lack of fitness – in his opinion.

Concluding the video, Browne said: “Thanks for the interview Ricky where you go out there and tell everyone my business, but let’s get this s*** sorted asap.”

Browne suffered the first loss of his career in March when going down to Whyte via a sixth round knockout in London and is keen to get back in the ring soon.

A couple of wins will be needed in order to restore a world ranking, with time running out for Browne to make another impression in the top division ranks.

Hatton is currently in Manchester with Gorman, who is bids to improve his undefeated record on the Tyson Fury undercard.
