EXCLUSIVE: Ex-world champ Hassan N’Dam signs with Sims Sports, reveals targets at 160 / 168

The 34 year-old is aiming to rebuild his career at a late stage on the back of a title rematch defeat to Ryota Murata last October.

Despite winning the first bout against the Japanese star and inflicting a first defeat on Murata, N’Dam was ordered to participate in an immediate return and subsequently dropped his WBA belt.

Rejuvenated from some time to reflect, N’Dam has linked up with British-based Sims Sports – headed by Charles Sims and is looking to be in the mix with some top contenders in 2018 – including Martin Murray.

“If I had the notice I’d step in to fight Murray on June 23,” N’Dam exclusively told WBN this week.

“I want to get back into the middleweight mix and I want to be a world champion again, so I have to fight the best.

“Peter Quillin, J’Leon Love or anyone, I’ll fight whoever is interested in facing me.”

On the possibilty of taking a contest at the high weight of 168 pounds, N’Dam added: “Yes, I will look at super middleweight options too as Tyrone Zeuge, Vincent Feigenbutz, Arthur Abraham and Fedor Chudinov are all attractive are options to me and my team and we are interested in fighting all of them.”

Just three losses suffered during an extensive 39-fight pro career, plus an unlikely stint at the 2016 Olympics, have kept N’Dam in the thoughts of boxing organizations the world over.

Time is running out for N’Dam to seal another title chance and the three-time world challenger is eager to get things moving.
