An action packed June, sprinkled with an array of quality WBC fights.

June 9: Jermell Charlo vs. Austin Trout / California

Jermell Charlo will make the third defense of his 154 pounds crown against an experienced opponent in Austin Trout, who comes to this match after a victory over Juan De Angel. Charlo, who’s not known for hanging around, halted Erickson Lubin in the very first round last October.

Interestingly Barros has a victory over Miguel “Mickey” Roman, Berchelt’s current mandatory challenger. “Alacran” comes from knocking out Maxwell Awuku in three rounds.
