Next week’s bareknuckle boxing show in London will be seen by fight fans across Europe.
Promoters UBBAD have agreed a deal with Viceland TV and all the action from the O2 Indigo a week on Saturday (JUNE 9) will be screened live in Holland, Belgium and France.
UBBAD co-founder Joe Brown describes the deal as “a massive breakthrough.”
He added: “There could be a million people watching this show in Europe.
“This is a big step in the right direction, our biggest breakthrough yet.
‘’This is recognition for us.
‘’We have a sports broadcaster owned by Walt Disney screening our show live and it’s a matter of time before we get a TV deal in the UK.’’
Next week’s show is available on pay-per-view in the UK on www.channelfight.com and fans can whet their appetite for a bill topped by pound-for-pound No 1 Jimmy Sweeney defending his world middleweight title by watching the documentary ‘Bareknuckle.’
The DVD is available from Asda from Monday.
That will be followed by the Bareknuckle Boxing’s Best 50 Knockdowns DVD.
