Following his world-beating performance Jaime Munguía who swept over Sadam Ali, Munguía, linked up with the WBC to ‘Shoot the breeze’ about his future plans.
Jaime said he never hesitated to come out with the victory because not only did he have the preparation but also the rib bending hunger.
“One door closed but another opened. I showed that I have everything to be in the big card and nothing will stop me from offering a great show.
“Saturday night was very special for me, but I know that the real commitment is just beginning.
“I have many plans among them to become a WBC champion, to own the green and gold belt…the one we all dream about.”
Jaime suggested that a fight against Jermell Charlo would be particularly attractive; However, he did not deny or dismiss the possibility of fighting Gennady Golvkin or Saul Alvarez.
This is because he says he also has the potential for that division.
Jaime thanked all the support of his promoter Fernando Beltran, his team, his Father and the fans, who’ve never stopped believing in him.
