Reporter claims Mayweather v McGregor 2 NONSENSICAL RULES ARE AGREED for OCTAGON rematch

Mayweather v McGregor 2 09/04/2018

Floyd Mayweather will rematch Conor McGregor inside the octagon under altered rules, according to The Sports Journal’s Editor-in-Chief Omar Al Raisi.

In several tweets on Sunday, Al Raisi laid down the stipulations for what could now miss out on becoming the most lucrative combat sports event of all time later this year.

Mayweather, 41, has been training for some time to make his UFC debut, having left boxing behind when defeating McGregor in their original meeting last August.

‘The Notorious’ one was halted in the tenth round of what turned out to be a predictably one-sided contest, although this time around the prospect of Mayweather going into McGregor territory makes the fight all the more intriguing.

According to Al Raisi, the pair will battle in 4-ounce gloves without shoes but won’t be allowed to kick, elbow, knee or take down – leaving the actual fight itself with a lot to be desired.

It’s basically Floyd stipulating a boxing match inside an eight-sided ring with smaller gloves and will give the former pound for pound king every chance of having success in the fight.

If true, fans could stay away from the costly pay-per-view and leave only a select batch of supporters interested in witnessing what is a glorified boxing match.
