What have they said?

Discussing his last outing in the Welsh capital, Joshua beamed about returning: “The last time I was out in Cardiff, I took my time because I knew I was in for a big 2018.

“We’re making history. This is another strap. We’re all blessed with the ability to work hard.

“But I mix intelligence with hard work. I’m looking forward to the physical and mental challenge.”

After landing in London, Parker discussed his chances against British boxing sensation Joshua: “We’ve arrived here in good condition; mentally and physically we’re strong and we’re looking forward to putting on a great display.

“I’m young, fast, strong, my movement is good, I have a great team behind me, and I have my two nations behind me.

“Last year wasn’t the best year for us and [there are] many reasons why it wasn’t my best performances in the ring but I can tell you this: we’re going to put on the best performance of our lives come March 31.”
What’s your prediction for the fight?

Oddschecker’s Callum Wilson: “Despite coming off the back of a straightforward victory over step-in replacement Carlos Takam, Joshua should face a more stern test this time around.

“There’s more to Parker’s game than meets the eye, and he’s built a reputation for having a decent chin.

“However, that chin has not been tested by a power-puncher of the ilk of Anthony Joshua, and it should end in defeat for the unbeaten youngster.

“I can see this bout going into the latter stages of the contest, with Joshua to win by KO between 7-12 rounds looks good value at 7/4.”
