The respective managers of British heavyweights Joe Joyce and David Haye have announced they’re partnering together for a new venture.
Sam Jones, who currently represents Joyce, and Adam Morallee – Haye’s business handler, have formed a new management company called S-Jam Boxing.
The pair have already signed their first boxer together as ex-kickboxing champion Ruqsana Begum will be the first client under the double banner.
The 34 year-old, known as ‘The Warrior Princess’, has enjoyed varied successes in her chosen codes.
Begum’s debut will be confirmed in the near future, whilst plans are already in place for Jones and Morallee to announce further signings in the coming weeks and months.
Commenting on the launch of S-Jam, Jones exclusively told World Boxing News: “I am delighted to launch S-Jam Boxing with Adam. We’ve been working together just over a year and we’ve already come a long way
“Adam has been managing David Haye for a while now and together we’ve added Joe Joyce and Ruqsana Begum to the elite stable.
“We’ve got another big signing to announce this Saturday but we’re not looking to have a huge stable and we want quality over quantity,” he stated.
Under the guidance of Jones, Joyce is making big waves on the UK domestic scene, whilst Morallee’s charge Haye is in preparations for his May 5 rematch with Tony Bellew.
Morallee had this to say on the partnership: “I’m delighted to partner with Sam on this venture.
“Having worked with a number of boxers, governing bodies and promoters in the UK and US for several years, we are well placed to help a small stable of elite fighters become world champions, and partner with brands who share their values”
