Josh Kelly will fight for the sixth time professionally on March 31 when the talented prospect participates on the Anthony Joshua v Joseph Parker undercard.
The Sunderland man, 23, has so far been electric in racing to 5-0, with many suggesting Kelly has the talent to be a world champion of the future.
Winning those fights in just an eight month period in 2017, ‘Pretty Boy’ has been patiently awaiting his first outing of 2018 and couldn’t have asked for a bigger opportunity.
An opponent is yet to be named, although there are rumors Michael Katsidis could feature in Kelly’s future plans but maybe not this time around.
Kelly’s addition means the Joshua v Parker event is now hosting seven contests, with young Welshman Morgan Jones also confirmed by Matchroom Boxing.
Jones, who is 12-0, gets the chance to fight on home turf against New Zealander Mose Auimatagi Jnr.
A heavyweight attraction between Alexander Povetkin and David Price backs up the main event.
Ryan Burnett features in defence of his WBA bantamweight belt against Yonfrez Parejo, whilst Sean McGoldrick is also slated for a spot on the bill.
A step up in class for Joe Cordina against Andy Townend makes up the numbers, with more bouts set to be added in the near future.
