Things heat up between Canelo and Golovkin as both sides lay blame for KO failure in first fight

Both boxers held a meeting with the fans and the press in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, where they began to give the first verbal blows.

“Canelo” referred to the punch of his opponent. He said: “I respect him, he has a good punch, but nothing out of this world”.

GGG said that he wants the Mexican to “stop and fight him” this time. However, what began with a lot of respect, little by little, heated up.

One of the top moments of the night was between Canelo and Abel Sanchez: “You promised that he was going to knock me out and he didn’t do anything to me, you’re the one who opens your mouth more because your boxer doesn’t even speak”

Álvarez said to Sánchez, who answered in a strong way: “don’t run next time and we’ll see”.

For his part, “GGG”, with a calmer character, invited the fans to not miss the fight on May 5th and added: “we are not here to make predictions, we are here to fight”.

In the same line, José “Chepo” Reynoso, El Colorado’s trainer, said: “we don’t have to talk. On the day of the fight they will be the ones to talk with their gloves in the ring”.

Thus, things begin to heat up for this great fight that will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This second battle is for some a rematch and for others a tiebreaker, because the first battle held on September 16th ended in a draw. Now, both boxers hope to make everything very clear in the ring to achieve a forceful victory, which leaves no doubt to anyone.
