Watch: Dubois, Yarde devastating once again / Clark shocks Barrett

Daniel Dubois went through DL Jones like a wrecking ball on Saturday night, softening up his opponent before stubbornly landing sickening blows until the fight was over.

‘DDD’ wasn’t firing on all cylinders throughout the fight against an awkward opponent but his brute strength, raw power and pin-point accuracy meant it was only a matter of time.

That moment came in the third when Dubois pinned Jones on the ropes and bludgeoned him until he could take no more.

Rival Nathan Gorman also won on the night and promoter Frank Warren must now decide whether to pit two undefeated heavyweights against each other in the summer.

In the headliner, Anthony Yarde was in fine form before unleashing a wicked body shot to spell the beginning of the end for Tony Averlant.

The brave Frenchman amazingly rose to his feet following the crunching blow, although Yarde soon saw out the stoppage to make it 15 wins on the spin.

A huge shock unfolded prior to the main event double as Ronnie Clark dropped Zelfa Barrett on his way to inflicting a first defeat on ‘The Flash’.

Barrett couldn’t hurt Clark enough to keep him off for the duration of the contest and eventually lost a majority verdict to the Scotsman.

Other results saw super featherweight Archie Sharp make it 12-0 with a seventh round stoppage of Ivan Ruiz Morote, whilst lightweight Boy Jones out-pointed Reynaldo Mora over eight. Ryan Garner, Umar Sadiq, Harvey Horn and welterweight Hamzah Sheeraz all remained undefeated at the York Hall event.
