Daigo Higa kept a firm grip on his WBC flyweight title with a crushing knockout of ex-world champion Moises Fuentes in Naha, Japan.
The 22 year-old WBN Young Fighter of the Year for 2017 sunk a straight body shot through the Mexican’s solar plexus and sent Fuentes to the canvas in a heap.

In obvious pain and unable to breathe, Fuentes removed his gumshield and stood up on the count of ten, leading to referee Len Koivisto waving off the contest for a KO1 in favor of the title holder.
Higa moves to 15-0 with the triumph and keeps his 100% percent knockout ratio intact with yet another impressive display.
