Floyd Mayweather has sent social media into meltdown yet again, after giving fans hope of a sensational switch to UFC.
It comes a day after Conor McGregor was awarded the ‘Fighter of the Year’ prize at this year’s UFC award ceremony in Las Vegas.
Posting a second video in as many days, Mayweather says: “2018, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather – MMA – what are the odds, Paddy? What are the odds?”
The undisputed king of boxing refers to Paddy Power in his video, a betting company who sponsored him during his battle with McGregor back in 2017.
In response to his first video post, McGregor responded in classic fashion, telling the American; ‘to keep up the good work, son’ before a customary, ‘f*** the Mayweathers’ response followed soon after.
It’s yet another indication that Mayweather is seriously intending to turn to the cage in hope of making his biggest payday yet.
Then again, the 40-year-old could just be playing games with the public, with many believing McGregor would flatten Mayweather.
Who knows with Floyd.
