Floyd Mayweather Sr. denies punching woman at GGG v Canelo

The 65 year-old was in attendance as Golovkin and Canelo fought out a draw at the T-Moblie Arena in Las Vegas but then was involved in an altercation with the accuser.

TMZ’s report states Mayweather Sr. argued with the female before dragging her out of his car and eventually punching her before speeding away.

Mayweather’s representatives have since commented on the accusations and say the woman went to police when she failed to secure a payout.

Senior’s team say the woman is, “trying to extort money and she’s angry because she’s not getting the money from Floyd. It’s not going the way she wants it to go.”

The incident is said to have taken place in the early hours of September 17 and police are attempting to get the bottom of what went down that night.

A famed fighter in his own right and the trainer and father of the most famous boxer on the planet, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Senior has won several accolades in the past for his coaching exploits.
