Promoter Jamie Anderson to make heavyweight debut on own March 17 show in Manchester

Anderson has teamed up with professional boxing coach and manager Gary Booth of Salford City Boxing Academy, which means they can provide full facilities that boxers need for training, management and promoting – all under one roof.

The spring event represents a first professional boxing show at the venue, with some great fights featuring:

HEAVYWEIGHT: Gorton’s Lee “The Grenadier” Carter with an eagerly awaited grudge match. Lee previously featured on the Hughie Fury v Joseph Parker world title undercard

WELTERWEIGHT: Ben Capps, who comes over from Australia and with a great background as he’s a former WBC Ocean Pacific Champion and IBO Asia Champion

LIGHTWEIGHT: Chris Conwell – A former Central Area champion and former English title challenger

SUPER-WELTERWEIGHT: Simon Haworth, who makes his professional debut and is highly touted for big things.

LIGHTWEIGHT: Jake James, who was an amateur superstar and is now an undefeated professional

And quite unique to this event and boxing is that the promoter himself, Jamie Anderson will be making his professional debut on the Show at HEAVYWEIGHT.
