Glasgow’s Raddison Hotel will once again be the venue for St Andrew’s Sporting Club’s Burns Night Event on January 18.
The evening itself, which will include a first class four course dinner in the most exquisite surroundings Glasgow has to offer, will see rising star Martin Harkin in title action.
The Dunbartonshire man has looked punch perfect in the early stages of his career and will look to pick up his first title in style on January 18.
Joining Harkin on the bill is Paisley’s, Callen McAulay. McAulay looked solid on his professional debut, comfortable outpointing an opponent that many wouldn’t face on their debuts.
The ‘InStyle Kid’ will be looking to continue his progression on January 18.
Completing the bill is Barrhead’s Gary ‘Razor’ Rae. Rae has been entertaining throughout his opening 5 professional contests, which he emerged victoriously.
Rae will be aiming to pick up titles in 2018 and nothing but a scintillating performance on the Burns Night event can be expected from the Barrhead man.
A spokesperson for St Andrew’s Sporting Club commented on the Burns Night event.
They said, “We are all really looking forward to the Burns Night Event. It’s an important night of the year for Scotland and we at St Andrew’s Sporting Club always look to make sure that the best hospitality and best boxing is showcased at our Burns Night Event.
“The three boxers who will compete on the night are all very talented in their own right and we’re excited to see three well-matched contests including the outstanding Martin Harkin in title action.
“We are also delighted to announce that Scottish Footballing Legend Frank McAvennie will be our guest of honour on the night.”
