Floyd Mayweather’s California home burgled, investigation begins

According to police reports, Mayweather, who took pride in showing off his newly acquired property earlier this year, was not home at the time of the burglary.

Mayweather’s team called the police on Tuesday afternoon regarding the incident. Thieves took costly luggage, sunglasses, and other items.

No arrests have been made as Mayweather continues to spend time out of the country.

During a recent trip to China, Mayweather denied reports of returning to the ring following statements made by Showtime boss Stephen Espinoza.

According to Mayweather, innocent comments made by Espinoza that he would welcome Floyd should he decide to fight for the 51st time were made into something they are not.

The former pound-for-pound king told close confidant Ben Thompson of FightHype.com, that he had no intention of returning to the ring again.

Now 40 years old, Mayweather last fought when defeating Conor McGregor via late stoppage in Las Vegas over the summer. He improved his standout record to 50-0 in the process.

McGregor is now being linked to a battle with Manny Pacquiao following the dismissal of a Mayweather rematch.

UFC boss Dana White’s admission that the Irishman may never grace the octagon again.
