The likable Lightweight is on a fast track to titles since making the step to jump from Team GB into the professional ranks under the guidance of Barry and Shane McGuigan at Cyclone Promotions.

Cameron’s first title contest will see her contest the IBO Inter-Continental Lightweight title against Mexico’s Edith Ramos.

The Shane McGuigan trained Lightweight opened up on her preparations for her first title showdown.

Cameron stated, “I feel great, and I’m really excited ahead of my first title fight as a pro!

“Training has been excellent. This camp has been tough but I feel I am ready now to put on a good performance.”

The former Team GB star continued, “I bounced straight into camp from October the 7th after my fight in York hall so I’ve had a long camp with a fight in between.

I’ll be more than ready come Saturday night!”

Not only does Cameron have a title fight scheduled for November 11 in Edinburgh but also has the opportunity to showcase her skills in front of her local support in Leicester on December 2 based on everything going well in Edinburgh this coming Saturday evening.

The Northampton Lightweight weighed in on the likelihood of boxing in front of a home crowd for the first time as a pro.

She said, “I have November 11 as my first task but I am confident I will come out successfully and bring the belt with me as I am determined to finish the year off with a fight close to my home so I can have my friends and family in attendance to support.

“I’m hoping the town gets behind me again like they did for York Hall on October the 7th.

“I love my town of Northampton and the support they give me spurs me on to want to success not just for me but for Northampton. I am determined to be crowned the champion and hopefully, this will be the first of many titles.”
