The online marathon started on October 26 and will last until November 4, 2017.

More than 30 experts from Germany, Italy, USA, Spain, Russia and Ukraine are taking part in the project. Among the speakers, there are honored boxing trainers, world champions, European champions, Olympic champions, sport psychologists as well as authors who have made a significant contribution to the world of professional boxing.

In the course of 10 days they unite around the cult personality in the world of boxing Cus D’Amato, who nurtured three world champions: Floyd Patterson, Jose Torres and Mike Tyson. Key questions that are discussed by the experts is the personality of Cus D’Amato and the enigma of his mystical Peekaboo style.

The reason for organizing such an international project is the book “Non-compromised Pendulum”. This is the first book ever about the mystical Peekaboo style.
The authors of the book: the scientist Ph.D. Oleg Maltsev and Tom Patti, the student of Cus D’Amato . It has to be noted that this project is a non commercial one, and the book will be in public domain. The patron of the project is Oleg Maltsev. Production-partner of the project: ActionX Company (Los Angeles, CA, USA).

On the 27th of October the scientific group of Ph.D Oleg Maltsev came to New York to meet with Tom Patti and to set up the basic for the book. New York is the city where the key stage for preparation of the book is to be done.

“As a scientist I studied the phenomenon of Cus D’Amato for more than 20 years. Here in New York, where the great master Cus D’Amato lived and worked, we are setting up the basis of the book about his secret style “Peekaboo”. As the co-author and the consultant of the book will be Tom Patti. He had been living and training with Cus D’Amato for many years. That is why the book will describe the style “Peekaboo” in complex – from scientific point and from practical point.” (Ph.D Oleg Maltsev)

Cus D’Amato

Legendary American boxing trainer, who nurtured a lot of fighters in the professional boxing including Floyd Patterson, Jose Torres and Mike Tyson. The aim of Cus was helping difficult children from poor families. All he asked in return for his lessons (Cus was not only a boxing coach, first of all he wanted to develop the personality of a teenager) was helping around the house. One of his students was Kevin Rooney, “Golden Gloves” champion in 1975. Growing up in a family of alcoholics, Rooney became a devoted boy of D’Amato. It was he, who has continued the legacy of the old mentor and led Tyson to the championship title.

Tom Patti

The student of Cus D’Amato, five time state and “Golden Gloves” champion. He spent 4 years under the direct training of Cus D’Amato. Tom Patti is a current elected official.

Oleg Maltsev
