Wicks will be looking to achieve his 7th pro win of his career, as he edges closer to a big title fight.

Wicks was last out in July where he picked up a draw down in Bournemouth.

The Sussex based boxer, has fought 4 times already this year, which included impressive wins against Sonny Whiting, who remains his only opponent to have beaten Wicks, while the Worthing boxer also got an impressive first round KO in May in Southampton.

The show itself will see Michael McKinson take on Colin Lynes as the main event, while former Irish title challenger, Darren Cruise will also feature on the bill.

The 24-year-old trains with father Leigh Wicks in West Sussex, with the likes Nicky Jenman.

Wicks, who was meant to fight for the Southern Area title earlier this month, is hopeful of securing the same title shot in 2018.

Manager, Kaz Evans added

‘Max has had a great year so far with 3 impressive wins. We had a minor set back with an injury in his last fight, and then missing out on that title fight was a blow too. He is looking back to his best and we will be looking in great shape to make a move toward titles again in 2018.
