Renald Garrido followed up his clowning at the final press conference by turning up in fancy dress for Friday’s weigh-in.
The 34 year-old is a massive underdog to put a first dent in the fifteen-fight undefeated run of Northern Ireland’s Tyrone McKenna, who stands a half a foot taller than Garrido.
Known for his sportsmanship and good humour, Bradley Saunders conqueror Garrido participated in the head-to-head in full zombie attire complete with a hazardous sign for further effect.
McKenna was in no mood for Garrido’s antics though and rushed in with the head as things threatened to get ugly between the pair. Still smiling, Garrido trudged off to get ready for what seems to be mission impossible.
The pair square off on the Ryan Burnett v Zhanat Zhakiyanov world bantamweight title unification undercard at the SSE Arena, which features live on Sky Sports from Belfast.
