Duffus, who has picked up 15 pro wins since turning to the paid ranks in 2011, after a great amateur career, and is looking for his 5th straight win on November 18th. Duffus began his career as a teenager at middleweight, and has slowly moved up the weights, to where today he is a credible light-heavyweight.

On the journey, Duffus has had 4 defeats across his career, however, 3 of them defeats came at an unnatural weight for the Panama born boxer, where he moved to cruiserweight for a short stint.

Based in LA on the West Coast of America, Duffus was last out in March, where he picked up a great win against the durable Michael Gbenga.

The hard hitting Panama fighter currently trains with Justin Furtune, who works in conjunction with the world famous, Freddie Roach.

Duffus, a dangerous fighter, has had 12 KO wins, with his signature fight coming against 7-0 prospect, Ryan Bourland, in 2015 on a Top Rank show, where Duffus KO’d Bourland inside the first round.

Duffus, is excited to get back on the title trail, and aims to pick up a couple of victories before Christmas, ahead of a busy 2018, where the 25-year-old will look to secure himself a title fight to ensure he moves up the rankings.

Manager and founder of Assassin Boxing, Kaz Evans, commented.

‘This is a great first test for Israel, as we begin our journey together. We will build him in to a real credible name in this division, and hope with a couple of outings before Christmas, we can really step up training in 2018 and have a key focus and target, and get him into the big fights he deserves’.
