David Haye is aiming to return to the ring in December following his defeat to Tony Bellew at the 02 Arena in March.
Despite rapturing his achilles during his battle with Bellew, the former two weight world champion is planning an audacious comeback before the end of this year.
However, Haye played his cards close to his chest in a recent interview with WBN as he refused to confirm who his next opponent would be.
“The achilles healed nicely. I’m hopping on one leg, I’m running and I’m in a good physical state,” Haye exclusively smirked to World Boxing News.
“I’ll be fighting before the end of the year that’s my plan, it has been since the operation and I’ll be fighting before the end of the year and things are shaping up nicely for December,” he stated.
This year has seen the launch of a Ringstar Hayemaker which consists of David Haye and promoting mogul Richard Schafer.
The former Heavyweight world champion has signed the likes of Joe Joyce and Willy Hutchinson. He admitted his heavy schedule from the past has been a hindrance to promoting at a bigger scale in the UK scene.
“I’ve been promoting for years, I had Groves, Derry Matthews, David Price and over the years I’ve dabbled in promotion but never really focussed 100% on it but now I’ve teamed up with Richard Schaefer with Ringstar Sports.
“It’s a big move and I’m really happy with this move,” he added.
The 36-year-old will taste his first piece of promotional work since forming Ringstar Hayemaker next month.
The company will make its debut on October 20 with Dave broadcasting the action.
It will feature the likes of silver-medallist Joe Joyce, Commonwealth Gold medallist Willy Hutchinson and former MMA star Michael Page.
The venue for the undercard will be at the 02 Indigo Arena in London.
