World Boxing News will be scoring live on site tonight as Floyd Mayweather defends his place at the top of the boxing world against UFC king Conor McGregor.
Mayweather makes a return to action following two years out retired and puts his reputation and perfect 49-0 record on the line at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
McGregor, at 29 is eleven years Mayweather’s junior and enters the squared circle for the first time in his career following some devastating knockouts in the octagon.
Also on the bill, Nathan Cleverly puts his WBA light-heavyweight belt up for grabs against former WBC super-middleweight champion Badou Jack in the co-feature contest.
Cleverly makes the first defense of the strap he took from Juergen Braehmer and surprisingly begins a slight underdog despite being a two-time world title holder.
Jack decided to move up instead of agreeing a rematch with James DeGale and will hope to walk away from Nevada with a second weight championship in his possession.
A third eye-catching bout sees Gervonta Davis face Francisco Fonseca, although without his IBF belt at stake.
Davis was stripped for coming in heavy at the weigh-in, meaning only Fonseca can take home the gold as the American edges closer to moving up in weight.
