Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi met for the first time since their infamous sparring session on Tuesday as the UFC star made his grand arrival in Las Vegas.
The pair locked horns for a refereed exhibition during McGregor’s build-up to fighting Floyd Mayweather, although it all ended badly when Malignaggi left unceremoniously.
Malignaggi, a two-weight world champion, claimed McGregor’s team portrayed him in a bad light when posting about the session on social media – even throwing in accusations of lying.
Since then, mud has flown either side and tensions between McGregor and Malignaggi were clearly hightened as they crossed paths in Las Vegas.
McGregor is just days away from facing Floyd Mayweather in a defining night for ‘The Notorious’ at the T-Mobile Arena, but was clearly in no mood for Malignaggi, who baited the MMA king to ‘bring his balls’ as talk of a possible future fight continues.
