22 year old Opetaia a former amateur light heavyweight Junior world champion was the youngest boxer ever to qualify for Olympics representing Australia at just 16 years of age.
Since turning professional he has notched up 12 victories stopping 9 inside the distance and in his last outing in July secured the Australian and OPBF title stopping veteran Daniel Ammann in the 9th round.
Frankie Lopez has stopped 7 of his 9 opponents to date inside the distance and is trained by former light heavyweight world champion Virgil Hill.
