Ray Moyette will make a return to the ring in September. The Mayo lightweight will fight twice in a month over in The States.
September 15th will initially see Moylette and his team return to Boston, on a Murphy’s Boxing show. Boston a familar place for Moylette, has been the location of choice for three of his first 5 fights, however Moylette will move on to new territories later that month, as he will look to move to 7-0 in Connecticut.
Moylette who has previously appeared on Murphy’s Boxing show along with his Celtic Warrior Gym stablemates Gary ‘Spike’ O Sullivan and Niall Kennedy, is excited to return to Boston.
‘The support I got out in Boston was incredible. It is a great opportunity for me to go back out there in September, and to go to Connecticut is really exciting.’
Moylette who only moved into the pro ranks in March 2017, having put pen to paper on a deal with Assassin Boxing following an illustrious amateur career, which included a Junior World Title and a Gold Medal at The European Championship’s.
Having been fast tracked in his opening six months as a pro, racking up five wins in London, Boston and eventually Dublin, Ray, who is now adapted to six-rounders, has his seights set on titles before his one year anniversary as a pro.
Manager and founder of Assassin Boxing, Kaz Evans added, ‘The plan was always to get him to ten wins within year one. He is an established amatuer, he can be fast tracked’.
