Argentina’s Sebastian Heiland takes on undefeated American Jermall Charlo (25-0, 19 KOs) in a middleweight division eliminator of the World Boxing Council this Saturday at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn.
This will be Heiland’s second fight (29-4-2, 16 KOs) in the United States, but he does not feel intimidated.
On the contrary, he’s extra motivated to show his South American quality to North American market
“I know that Charlo is a great fighter, but I do not see myself as the loser in this fight. I have confidence in myself, I have experience and I had a great training camp.
“I have prepared for the battle and I am aiming to be winner of this WBC elimination bout.” Sebastian said.
Charlo commented: “He is a good fighter who knows what he is doing and that’s why he is here. He has been fighting since 2007, so he has the experience.
“I do not take it lightly because this is the WBC’s number one division. What I can tell you is that we will have a great fight.”
Charlo vs. Heiland is part of the undercard satarred by Mikey Garcia (36-0, 30 KOs) vs. Adrien Broner (32-2, 24 KOs, 1 NC) It’ll be televised live on Showtime.
