Pictured: Conor McGregor spars Paulie Malignaggi with hands behind his back

McGregor, 29, is preparing for a once in a lifetime match-up against the best boxer of a generation and wants to gain experience with fighters who have competed at the top level.

Before being officially brought into McGregor’s camp, ‘The Magic Man’ said he won’t be holding back against McGregor as the Showtime analyst gains first-hand knowledge of the MMA star’s real boxing talent.

Judging by the photo, McGregor wasn’t too worried about what Malignaggi was coming back with as the two traded in the gym.

It is has been rumored semi-retired Malignaggi, who hasn’t been planning a return to the ring anytime soon, may have had to sign a confidentiality agreement for sparring with McGregor, who Mayweather’s team believe is putting out less-than-flattering videos on purpose.

Recent Instagram clips of McGregor have widely been ridiculed by the boxing fraternity, and whatever happens with Malignaggi will also be kept a firm secret before the Mayweather fight finally goes ahead.

Tickets for the Mayweather fight are set to go on sale next week as McGregor bids to blow a huge hole in the former pound for pound king’s legacy.
