Punishing win for Okolie, Chamberlain, Cox, Bellotti triumph

In yet another crushing display, Lawrence Okolie demolished Russell Henshaw in the first round.

A punishing body shot began the demise of Henshaw, who was clearly out-gunned despite laughing off some of Okolie’s head shots through gritted teeth.

Henshaw went down twice in the fight before the referee rightly save him from further punishment. Okolie moves to 4-0

Reece Bellotti proved too strong for a game Jamie Speight as he picked up a fringe version of the WBC featherweight crown.

Bellotti forced referee Ian John-Lewis to step in during the eighth round as Speight was taking unnecessary punishment.

Super-middleweight star Jamie Cox battered Ivan Jukic in one round as the Swindon man prepares to hear his fate in the World Boxing Super Series draw on July 8.

Cox, mandatory for British champion Rocky Fielding, chose to enter the world title competition rather than trade blows with the Liverpool man this September.

In the same division, Morgan Jones made light work of Jade Karam scoring an early stoppage, whilst Isaac Chamberlain did likewise when using uppercuts to chop down Ryan Crawford.

Chamberlain moved to 8-0 with the second round win prior to Danny Dignum recording a four round points win over Yailton Neves to push to 3-0.

Craig Richards continued his progression with a six round points win over Rui Manuel Pavanito. The referee scored it 58-56.

At light heavyweight, Jake Ball stopped Jamie Ambler in the fourth round.
