Kid Galahad will now box ex-Scott Quigg opponent Jose Cayetano on July 15 following the collapse of a fight with Dennis Ceylan.
Former European champion Ceylan was ruled out of a fight with Galahad as he tested positive for and admitted cocaine use.
The 28 year-old was due to fight Galahad in London next month on the Chris Eubank Jr. v Arthur Abraham bill and was tested out of competition following his EBU title defence against Isaac Lowe last March.
Ceylan’s notified the European Boxing Union two weeks ago of his desire to leave the championship behind before the drug revelation was made public by the fighter himself to Danish media.
As the test failure was not in the run up to a fight, the Danish Boxing Federation are not said to planning a ban for Ceylan, although the British Board have now acted to block the contest.
A fringe version of the IBF featherweight crown was due to be on the line, although Galahad will face Mexican Cayetano.
The 30 year-old last nine rounds with Quigg in December at Manchester Arena before being stopped by the ex-WBA champion.
Galahad remains a heavy favourite to come out on top and move one step closer to a shot at Welshman Lee Selby.
