Mayweather v McGregor: Undercard odds released on Joshua, Wilder, Fury / MayPac record / Kicking DQ

Betway 15/06/2017

Betway go 4/1 for world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to fight on the undercard of Mayweather vs McGregor.

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is the latest person to call out the champion and the leading online bookmaker think AJ’s next fight could well be on the undercard of the mega-event.

Meanwhile, American heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is a shorter price at 2/1, while Mayweather promoted fighters Gervonta Davis and Badou Jack are both odds-on at 4/11 and 5/6, respectively, to fight on the bill.

Mayweather-McGregor is expected to smash pay-per-view figures and Betway are 1/20 for the bout to shatter the record of 4.4 million that subscribed to Mayweather vs Pacquaio in 2015.

Octagon scrapper McGregor is contractually forbidden from throwing kicks or elbows, but the Irishman can still be backed at 16/1 to be disqualified for kicking.

Betway’s Alan Alger, said: “Boxers all around the world will be queuing up to fight on the Mayweather McGregor undercard and we make Anthony Joshua 4/1 to step into the ring before the main event.

“With or without AJ on the bill we think Mayweather-McGregor is almost certain to draw in record pay-per-view numbers at 1/20.”
