Hairon Socarras eyeing Miami triumph on Friday before announcement on future
Hairon Socarras 15-0-2 (10 KO’s) returns this weekend at La Scala in Miami, Fla.
Socarras and his team are closing the training camp for this fight with the intention of arriving on Friday to give a big fight in front of his people in Miami.
Hairon was invited by a local promoter to participate in this event, and since the announcement of the programming, was included as the main event of the evening.
“We want to thank the promoter and we are going to take this opportunity they gave us to return to fight at Miami. This is my house and it is always a pride and pleasure to fight in front of the Miami crowd that saw me grow as boxer. They always supported my career and I hope they do it again on Friday, June 9th, “said Socarras.
“Now I have an extra motivation in my life. The arrival of my daughter is my motivation and every morning I get ready to put an extra effort in training to provide a better future for my family”
Father Javier Socarras added: “Hairon, in the first place, is a good son and he will also be a good father. He is a responsible athlete, and at this moment, he is already very close to 126 pounds four days before the weigh-in. His dedication, motivation and excellent physical condition for this fight will be seen on Friday when he returns to the ring to keep his undefeated record.”
In his latest fight in Philadelphia last February, Socarras easily beat veteran German Meraz by UD. Socarras was returning from a long period due to contractual problems with his former managers who have already been solved.

On the future of his career, Hairon Socarras commented: “I think that little by little things are taking their course.
“I am in discussions with people related to boxing and we will be giving more details about this. For now, I’m focused on winning the fight on Friday and later, when I resolve this commitment we can speak clearly about what is coming next.”
