June: A big month of WBC fights begins tonight

June 3: Adonis Stevenson Vs. Andrzej Fonfara/Canada

A much anticipated rematch between WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson and Polish Andrzej Fonfara in the main event of SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING. These intrepid warriors fought in May 24, 2014, when Adonis was able to survive a knock down, to win a decision and successfully defend his belt for the third time. Both fighters offered a great fight that night. Can they go one/won better?

June 3: Eleider Alvarez vs. Jean Pascal / Canada

An intriguing contest with Eleider Alvarez, WBC silver light heavyweight champion, who will defend his crown against former champion Jean Pascal.

June 3: Wanheng Menayothin Vs. Omar Kimweri/Thailand.

WBC champion Wanheng Menayothin is convinced that his winning streak will continue and that he will emerge with a victory against Tanzania’s talented Omari Kimweri.

This will be the sixth defense of the belt Menayothin won by defeating Mexican Oswaldo “Gallito” Novoa in 2014.

3rd June: Dmitry Kudryashov Vs. Olanrewaju Durodola / Russia

What a rematch! The Arena Rostov-na-Donu hosts a great fight with two of the three most dangerous cruiserweights of today: Russian Dimitri Kudryashov and Nigerian Olanrewaju Durodola, who will be fighting for the silver belt, with the winner one significant step closer to facing Absolute Champion Mairis Briedis.

June 10: Isaac Real Vs. Sergio García / Spain

Two local fighters will clash to conquer the silver welterweight belt. Isaac Real and Sergio Garcia, two awesome fighters.

Stepping back just one day….June 9: Cecilia Braekhus vs. Erika Farías / Norway

Undoubtedly this is one of the most anticipated female fights in recent years. Undefeated WBC welterweight champion Cecilia Breakhus will face the WBC super lightweight champion Erika Farias. a clash of fists and a test of willpower!

June 16: Claressa Shields vs. Mery Rancier

After a successful amateur career with Claressa wining successive gold medals she will try to build a successful career. On June 16, Shields will seek to make history by facing Dominican Mery Rancier with the WBC super middleweight silver belt on the line in a fight that is expected to be highly explosive.
