Wanheng Menayothin aims for 47-0, fights Omari Kimweri on June 3
Undefeated Thai Wanheng Menayothin (46-0-0, 17 KOS) is preparing to defend his WBC minimumweight crown against Tanzania’s Omari Kimweri (16-3-0, 6KOS), scheduled for June 3 in Thailand.
Menayothin comes from defending his WBC crown by defeating Filipino Melvin Jerusalem in January.
That was his sixth successful retention of the belt he won, by defeating Mexican Oswaldo “Gallito” Novoa in 2014.
Omari arrives to this fight very motivated as he just defeated Australian Randy Petalcorin, conquering the WBC silver title.
