Eleven world titles on the line this weekend

Undisputed Heavyweight Boxing Rankings belts Boxing World Champions

A total of eleven world titles in the men’s divisions will be fought for this weekend, with belts contested in four countries over three days through ten bouts.

On Friday in Germany, Igor Mikhalkin and Thomas Oosthuizen will battle it out for the IBO light-heavyweight belt, before the action moves on to Saturday.

At the MGM National Harbor in Maryland on United States soil, Gary Russell Jr defends the WBC featherweight title against mandatory challenger Oscar Escandon. On the same bill, the interim IBF super middleweight title in on the line when Andre Dirrell and Jose Uzcategui scrap for the chance to face champion James DeGale.

Also in the USA, at the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York, the WBC and WBO titles at 140 pounds will be decided when champion Terence Crawford fights Felix Diaz.

In London on the same night, Gervonta Davis defends his super featherweight belt against Liam Walsh.

Over in Japan, a total of four titles will be contested as Juan Hernandez, Ganigan Lopez and Kosei Tanaka ready to defend their respective belts, whilst Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam is pitted against Ryota Murata for the vacant WBA middleweight strap.

On Sunday, world champions Akira Yaegashi and Naoya Inoue are in action.
