Look: Special Joshua v Klitschko WBA belt features silhouettes of both fighters

The World Boxing Association has unveiled a special belt for the bout that will take place on Saturday at the Wembley Stadium between the Ukrainian Vladimir Klitschko and the British Anthony Joshua.

This time the Super Champion Black and Gold belt, besides to the Lions on the central plate symbolizing the fierceness and honor of the boxers, will have on the sides two plates with the silhouette of Klitchsko on the left and Joshua on the right. It will also have the date and place of this spectacular battle printed.

“The Heavyweights is the most important division of boxing and this great battle in a mythical stadium like the Wembley before 90 thousand people had to be honored with a special belt, worthy of the magnitude of the event. Besides, two great gladiators, Klitschko, a great boxer who has represented the WBA on multiple occasions and Joshua, who is a young gladiator with a spectacular record, will fight in this battle”, said Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, WBA President.

The President of the World Boxing Association will arrive in London this Wednesday afternoon to attend this battle and present this great belt to the new Super Champion of the body.

The main bout of the card in England will top off a day in which three WBA battles will be carried out.
