Luis Ortiz on Berto v Porter undercard, then wants world title

Ortiz will face an opponent yet to be officially named.

However, the Cuban fighter is determined and focused to continue his journey towards a world title fight before the end of 2017.

“Now more than ever, I can’t lower my goals. I’ve been training with my team for a long time, and I’m ready to get into the ring at any time” Ortiz told ringsidefightingnews.

Ortiz last fought on December 12, 2016 at the Manchester Arena in the UK defeating David Allen in seven rounds by TKO.

During 2017, it has been commented that a possible title fight could be on the cards for Luis Ortiz on several different occasions, but until this moment nothing has materialized.

Ortiz says: “I am ready to fight for the world title against any champion, Joshua, Parker or Wilder. In April, I hope to win my fight and then a world title will materialize for me.

“I will not give anyone the chance to take my dream with my hands down, they should arrive ready to fight because I am ready for all of them,” finished the Cuban.
