Young rising super-lightweight prospect Josue Vargas and middleweight Edgar Berlanga are training at full steam for their upcoming fights.
Both prospects belonging to PROBOX Management will make their debut in Orlando, Fla on March 24th at the Orlando Live Events.
“Nelsons Promotions” will be presenting and organizing this event, which will feature a large group of Puerto Rican fighters such as Miguel Cruz, Cesar Seda, Dennis Galarza, Sammy Figueroa and the youngsters Berlanga and Vargas.
Josue Vargas 6-1-0 and Edgar Berlanga 3-0 opened their training camp together at The Plant City Boxing Gym owned by José Rodriguez and are being trained under the leadership of Boricua coach Hilario ‘Tito’ Vargas, Josue’s Vargas father.
“I’m excited; fighting here in Orlando in front of a large crowd of Puerto Rican fans is something I’ve always wanted to do. Now I have the opportunity and I’m going to give them a great fight on March 24,” said Josue Vargas
“I made my debut in the United States in Orlando, I grew up in New York and I made my first three fights as a professional in Mexico. Now, I will be at Orlando Live Events on March 24 and I hope to give all Puerto Rican fans a great fight” add Berlanga
Berlanga and Vargas, have developed their career together since they were very young. As amateurs in New York, they saw each other very often and now as professionals, both are fighting under the “PROBOX Management” banner led by Garry Jonas.
